Implantology Implantation

Is it really possible to implant happiness?

Oral health is an integral part of human health. Is it really possible to implant happiness? Sometimes a small piece of titanium can brighten your smile and build your confidence.

Dental implants are structures that mimic the shape and function of a tooth, and are fixed in the jaw at the site of the tooth. The purpose of dental implants is to withstand the force of chewing and provide a great aesthetic look.

After making the radiogram, the dentist examines the patient and assesses which treatment method can be used. The examination discusses the advantages and disadvantages of various dental restoration techniques. The x-ray or tomography imaging determines the length and diameter of the implant. Sufficient bone tissue must be available for the implant to heal. Some patients have insufficient bone tissue and need to be rebuilt. If the tooth is missing for a long period of time, the jaw may gradually collapse. In this case, the bone needs to be restored.

It takes 2-6 months for the implant to fit firmly into the jaw. This period depends on the specific situation. After about a week, the sutures are removed. Patients should remember that careful oral hygiene is essential during the healing process.

A regularly unattended implant, much like a natural root, can be pushed to the surface. Poor oral hygiene and smoking may result in implant rejection.
